In the Personnel tab, personnel on location may be tracked. This can be done in two distinct manners which may be used exclusively or in a mixed manner.
1. Track personnel individually
This method of tracking is most applicable for service companies using WellRep. With this method each person on location is tracked and his/her name is entered in the Last name, First name column. For these records the quantity (Qty) should always be 1. The status field is used to indicate whether the person was working Day Shift, Night Shift or on location as Trainee. Days where the person arrived on or left location, may be set to C/Change On or C/Change Off. As may occur on land locations, there is also a status for Standby.
To indicate whether the person is chargeable to the operator, the Charge field should be checked or unchecked.
If in addition to the company's own personnel, there is a desire to track other personnel (e.g. Drilling Supervisors or Toolpushers on location), these may be added individually. Obviously with Charged unchecked.
2. Track personnel on board (POB)
This method is more applicable to an operator tracking personnel on board (or on location). In this case, the Last name, First name is used to describe the personnel (e.g. Casing Crew, Wireline Crew) for each company and the Qty field can be used to reflect the number of crew on board (or location). In this case the Status and Charge fields may be left blank but could also be used for administrative purposes.
The Order field is provided for custom sorting of the list, but the list may be sorted on other columns as well.
Recurring data
The Recurring field is used when copying data from a previous daily report. When the Copy daily report data function is invoked, select 'Personnel data' and all personnel records marked as 'Recurring' will be copied into the current daily report.
Note that existing personnel data will be permanently overwritten when copying data from another daily report. This cannot be undone!
