All WellRep reports are generated from templates.  Templates are provided with the program as separate files. Using separate files for the templates gives the option to use different templates for specific reports (e.g. a different layout, different color scheme, etc.).

 

If required, Softdrill NL can produce a custom template.  This template should be stored in the program folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Softdrill NL\WellRep Reporting System).  To change the template to be used, select the [Utility] - [Report template maintenance...] option in the main menu of the main form.

 

 

To change a template, select the File name column for the Report type.  Click the ellipsis button [...] and select the correct template file (extension .rtm).  Click [Open] and then click [OK] to start using the new template file.

Some report properties, like logo and header text color, may be changed at anytime.  This is independent of the template used.

 

Using an incorrect template file for the report type (template WellSummary.rtm for the BHA Record report), will lead to multiple errors when generating the report. If in doubt, contact Softdrill NL for assistance.
